Sharing another piece of exciting news this week: the Ohio EPA recently awarded $3.25 million in grants for the installation of over 500 public Level 2 EV chargers across 22 Ohio counties! These new chargers will be installed in over 170 locations, expanding Ohioans’ access to EV charging.

The City of Cincinnati was among the grantees, winning $22,500 to install four chargers at Lunken Airport. Electrada–one of EV Cincy’s partners and a startup aiming to rapidly expand charging infrastructure across the midwest–also won funding to install chargers in 15 locations across Butler, Clermont, Hamilton, and Montgomery counties. Other winning locations include the Civic Garden Center, Fountain Square Garage, and Xavier University. You can view the full list of grant recipients and locations for the new chargers here.

I hope you’ve found my emails about EVs and EV Cincy informative over the past several weeks.
