We will meet in the lobby until 4:40 p.m before starting on the tour.
Margo Warminiski, Preservation Director of the Cincinnati Preservation Assoc. will present the history of the building as we take the walking tour.
SpencerJohnson, LEED AP from GBBN Architects will be there to answer questions about the Times Star EBOM documentation. GBBN is the LEED AP. Attendance tentative.
Terry Thompson-Cannon, P.E., C.E.M., LEED AP will answer question about the recent HVAC Systems Thermal Tech has engineered. Attendance tentative.
Judge John M. Williams will show us his courtroom which was converted from the former Times Star board room and executive suite. Judge Williams has some personal stories to tell about the Taft family over 60 years ago as handed down to him by his Great Great Grandfather who worked for the Taft Family.

The Times Star Building is Hamilton County’s first LEED Project and represents their commitment to build or renovate to LEED Certification like the City of Cincinnati, University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Public Schools, Northern Kentucky University, Metropolitan Sewer District, Cincinnati Park Board, Civic Garden Center of Cincinnati, Columbia Township, Sycamore Township, Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority and many other public institutions in Greater Cincinnati.
