This Thursday, February 25 from 1-2pm EST, EV Cincy is hosting the next installation in their E-Vroom Zoom event series, “EVs & Equity: Clean Transportation for Communities of Color.” If you found the Cleveland Study I shared last week interesting, you won’t want to miss this event, featuring two members of the Cleveland Study team at EVHybridNoire. The program will also feature EV advocates at the Electrification Coalition and Jitney EV.
Please see the event description below.

Join EV Cincy to learn about work being done in Cleveland and Chicago to advance clean transportation access in POC communities. Dr. Shelley Francis, Co-Founder and Co-Director of EVHybridNoire, and Corshonda Johnson, Equity Program Associate at EVHybridNoire, will discuss their recent Cleveland Study illuminating disparities in electric vehicle access and adoption. Neda Deylami, Transportation Electrification Field Organizer at the Electrification Coalition, and William P. “Billy” Davis, General Manager at Jitney EV, will speak about EV advocacy work with a focus on Black and brown communities in the Chicago area.
I hope you’re able to attend–and feel free to forward this to others who may be interested!
