John Ruthven explores the Ivory Billed Woodpecker
9:30 am – 11:00 am, $25.00
John A. Ruthven, naturalist, author, lecturer, and internationally acknowledged master of wildlife art is often called “20th Century Audubon.” Ruthven uses the same techniques as his famous predecessor. After studying and researching his subject thoroughly, he sketches to rigid specifications then renders the original painting with great detail. Mr. Ruthven will be speaking specifically on the Ivory Billed Woodpecker and his work in rendering its image.

Cooking Demonstration with Steven Geddes from Local 127 Restaurant
11:15 am – Noon, $10.00
Local 127 is a New American Eatery with an emphasis on Quality Local Sourcing. A Respect for Tradition, the Innovative Tools of Today and the Freshest Ingredients are the foundations of our Thought Process. Chef, Steven Geddes, will prepare local produce and offer samplings of his creative cooking genius!

Cooking Demonstration with De Stewart of Colonel De’s Gourmet Herbs

Canning Demonstration with Jennifer Even, OSU Extension Agency
1:15 pm – 2:00pm $10.00
So, you’ve harvested a bumper crop from your garden; now what? Learn how easy it is to perserve your bounty by simple and safe canning methods. In no time you can have a pantry full of tasty treats!
