‘Go Green Day Camp’ June 11th-15th Cincinnati Museum Center

Cincinnati Museum Center 2012 Summer Day Camps have been announced!

Museum Center offers six weeks of themed camps that have something for everyone! Each week your child will experience hands-on activities as we explore our museums and watch a film in our OMNIMAX Theater. It is an experience they will look forward to year after year.

Camps are held Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. They are available to children ages 7-12 years old. $200 for Members and $225 for non-Members. Before and after-care is available. Check out our Super Saver deal, which offers three weeks of camp for $550 for Members and $625 for non-Members! NOTE: Does not include Harry Potter I or Harry Potter II. Go Green! June 11-15
Help Museum Center do our part to stay green by learning what being “green” means! We will look at the science behind being green, and what Museum Center does to help the environment.
Learn about the Cincinnati History Museum’s victory garden, the certified monarch butterfly weigh station in the Museum of Natural History & Science’s garden and the benefits of having a vegetable garden.

Myths and Legends: June 18- 22
Did Atlantis really exist? Who was King Arthur? The world is full of interesting and exciting myths and legends. Join us for the week to explore what exactly is fact or fiction.

Artist in Residence: June 25-29
From painting to ballet and everything in between this camp will explore everything art. Campers will get to create, design, and experience both new and old art techniques.

Get ready for your second term at Hogwarts! Study up on muggles, herbology, divination, astronomy and even more in this action-packed camp.

Harry Potter III: July 30-August 3 JUST ADDED!
Due to popular demand, a third term at Hogwarts is now available! There will be new classes, like Advanced Care for Magical Creatures, and some of the best from Harry Potter I and Harry Potter II.

Super Scientists! July 23-27
Calling all science sleuths to explore the exciting world of science! In this STEM based camp we will be examining energy, constructing simple machines, and exploring the worlds of chemistry and physics.
